Product Engineer
Department: Product Development
Project Location(s): HQ Penang, Malaysia
Education: Diploma or bachelor's degree in Automation / Robotics / Mechatronic
Compensation: Depending on experience
1. Onsite Support:
- Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical assistance to customers and end-users, addressing issues and troubleshooting problems as they arise. This involves diagnosing hardware and software issues and offering timely solutions.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor the performance of released products to ensure they meet performance standards and customer expectations. Schedule and perform regular maintenance checks and updates.
- Exhibitions and Events: Provide support at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to showcase products and assist customers with inquiries.
2. Continuous Improvement:
- Detailed Documentation: Maintain and update comprehensive documentation for all product updates, including user manuals, technical guides, and release notes. Ensure documentation is easily accessible and understandable by all stakeholders.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of updates and improvements to ensure they resolve identified issues without introducing new problems. Validate changes in a controlled environment before wider deployment.
3. Application on DEO:
- Customer Solutions: Collaborate with customers to develop and implement tailored dispensing solutions, ensuring compatibility with DEO (Design of Experiment) requirements.
- Customization and Testing: Adapt the dispensing system as needed, including trial phases to meet customer-specific demands and ensure seamless integration.
4. Customer Interaction and Training:
- User Training: Develop and provide training materials, workshops, and hands-on sessions to educate customers on product usage, new features, and best practices.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure their needs are met and foster loyalty. Act as a liaison between customers and the development team to ensure clear communication of user needs and technical requirements.

Proven experience in roles such as engineering, product management, or product development is often required.

Experience in progressively responsible positions that involve strategic planning and execution is highly beneficial.
