Liquid Metal Dispensing

We provide liquid metal dispensing solutions for improving your electronic products’ performance. Applications like surface coating, cavity filling, special DAM for containing liquid metal, flat surfaces and enclosed areas.

What is liquid metal? It is used for?

Liquid metal is a metal alloy or pure metal in fluid state. It is often employed as a Thermal Interface Materials (TIM) for thermal performance due to its great efficiency in transferring thermal energy away from the heat source. It may function as a heat sink or coolant. According to studies from Asus ROG, compared to traditional thermal paste, the material is 17 times more efficient at cooling down GPU/CPUs.

The substance comprises a group of numerous metals with a low melting point near room temperature. Typically, these metals consist of gallium, indium, germanium, tin, etc. The material is used in production of 5G antennas, microsensors, heat transfer for wearable electronics, soft robots, self-healing circuits, and several other applications.

How do we do it?

In today’s contemporary world, the complexity of our electronics is growing as a direct result of the trend toward eletronic miniaturisation. Not only can liquid metal conduct electricity incredibly efficiently, it also has the ability to conduct heat. It could be beneficial in situations when a mix of characteristics is needed for more complicated applications. These requirements are often seen in the packaging of more modern heterogeneous products.

There are challenges to applying liquid metal via conventional equipment or common method due to the property and behaviour of liquid metal. (Superior high-surface tension). We provide cutting-edge micro-dispensing solutions for the distribution of liquid metal into any electronic or semiconductor component; the application is achievable on a flat, uneven surface or in arrays of minuscule confined spaces or cavities.
