Planning Executive

Education: Diploma or bachelor's degree in Automation / Robotics / Mechatronic
Compensation: Depending on experience
- Communicate with sales to determine customer requirements and plan production tasks and schedules to meet customer demand.
- Initiate contingency plan with related stakeholders on event of challenges or obstacles during project execution relating to schedules, quality, and other operation related obstacles.
- Plan inventory level on regular basis based on consumption records and forecast to ensure materials are available to meet customer’s delivery requirements at the same time maintaining optimum inventory level.
- Evaluate departmental operation procedures and practices to identify bottle necks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develops production schedule upon receiving of customer order by detailing all tasks based on customer’s required dates.
- As necessary, perform rescheduling and adjustment based on changes on customer’s demand, supplies or other internal factors.
- Acquire materials necessary to supply production sufficient raw materials to produce products to meet customer demand.
- Monitor project progress, report obstacles within the project environment relating to uncertainties in demand, supplies and other internal challenges.
- Communicate and drive internal operations to formulate resolution to arising challenges.
- Coordinate and communicate disposition plan for changes in planning due to changes in customer specification, schedule changes or cancellations.
- Conduct regular communication to align, update, and synchronize manufacturing process status with all relevant departments.
- Propose and execute improvement activities to improve department’s operational performance.
- Collaborate with all operational functional groups to ensure on time delivery and meeting customer expectations in meeting specification with expected quality.
- Communication with relevant supporting departments to support performance improvement initiatives.
- Monitor material acquisition status and communicate with relevant functional groups to ensure materials are available as planned to production operation.
- Perform project closure activity to capture lessons learned and coordinate necessary actions to ensure smooth future project execution.
- Prepares reports about production processes for upper management and suggests ways to improve efficiency, cost effectiveness, processes, and quality.
- Degree in Operation Management, Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering Field
- 1 year in planning function in manufacturing environment
- Using ERP solution in a manufacturing environment
