Senior Mechanical Engineer

Project Location(s): HQ Penang, Malaysia
Education: Related Degree/Master Degree
Compensation: Depending on experience
- Understanding the market and customer requirements through communication with customers, and team members, and from other source of information.
- Applying available tools and methodologies for planning of project execution activities, design activities, ensuring market satisfaction and timely delivery of required task.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to members of functional and project teams to meet project and organizational goals.
- Communicate project objectives and expectation to functional team members, providing assistance and guidance on delivering results
- Provide training and assistance to team members to increase team performance in performing product development activities.
- Identifying potential problems and points of friction and take necessary actions to formulate solutions in order to maximize efficiency within the team, department and organization.
- Monitor and ensure that all assigned tasks and projects are accomplished according to the scheduled timeline, product specification and quality expectations.
- A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering of Mechanical, Mechatronics, Product Design or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the development and mechanical design of automated equipment.
- Fluency in Mandarin is preferred for candidates to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
