Strategic Solutions Engineer / Manager

Strategic Business Development & Solution Leadership
- Drive strategic business development initiatives across targeted industries, key accounts, and high-impact projects.
- Develop customized automation solutions aligned with customer objectives and business requirements.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Product teams to strengthen proposal competitiveness and improve conversion rates.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure successful execution of strategic projects and business objectives.
Technical Consultation & Solution Delivery
- Provide expert technical consultation throughout pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
- Lead customer proof-of-concepts (PoC), pilot programs, prototype evaluations, and solution validation activities.
- Support solution deployment, scale-up, and production optimization to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate technical feasibility, process integration, and performance effectiveness of proposed solutions.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, technical stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by gathering insights, identifying future needs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deliver consultative engagement strategies that enhance customer retention and long-term business growth.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer trend assessments to identify emerging opportunities.
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies and business growth initiatives.
- Assess new products, services, and solution opportunities from technical, operational, and commercial perspectives.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
Strategic Partnerships & Industry Engagement
- Develop strategic partnerships with vendors, technology providers, system integrators, and industry stakeholders.
- Represent NSW Automation at industry events, exhibitions, webinars, and customer forums.
- Strengthen NSW’s market positioning through thought leadership and customer engagement initiatives.
Knowledge Management & Internal Enablement
- Develop and maintain solution documentation, best practices, technical knowledge repositories, and customer insights.
- Conduct internal training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Support continuous improvement and foster a culture of innovation and learning across the organization.
Marketing & Content Support
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop technical content, solution case studies, white papers, and promotional materials.
- Support digital campaigns, trade shows, webinars, and customer engagement programs.
- Translate technical concepts into compelling business value propositions for various target audiences.
Performance & Compliance Management
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business and solution effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve solution delivery, customer experience, and business performance.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in Strategy, Technology Management, Innovation, or Business Management is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Solution Architecture, Technical Sales, Key Account Management, or related fields.
- Proven success in managing strategic customer relationships and driving business growth through consultative solution selling.
- Experience working with industrial automation, manufacturing technologies, robotics, machine vision, fluid dispensing systems, system integration, or related technologies is highly preferred.
- Strong exposure to customer-facing technical and commercial engagements.

Travel Requirements
- Frequent local and international travel is required to support customer engagements, strategic business initiatives, project implementations, technical workshops, industry events, and partner collaborations.
