Assistant Manager | Account and Finance

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets aligned with company goals. Conduct regular financial analysis to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor cash flows and liquidity to optimize working capital.
  • Coordinate tax planning activities and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Prepare tax estimations and forecasts to support budgeting and financial planning efforts. Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as necessary.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
  • Identify and evaluate sources of funding. Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders to secure necessary capital for the Company’s operations and growth initiatives.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of proposed payment terms on cash flows, working capital, and overall financial health.
  • Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function. Implement best practices to streamline financial operations and enhance productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting financial reporting and disclosure.
  • Undertake any other special duties assigned by superior(s).
  • Degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Professional Qualification recognized by MIA is compulsory. Alternatively, candidates currently pursuing the MIA-recognized professional qualification will be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years related working experience.
  • Effective communicator in writing and in interpersonal communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP system, particularly in the areas of account and inventory management, is an added advantage.
  • Experience in conducting accounting due diligence specifically for companies preparing for an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
